For your list of accompanying goods and goods to follow, what is the acceptable format? Do items need to have value listed?
for example, is 5X shoes , 4X t-shirts, 1X iPad, 1X laptop okay? Does each items need a value?

You can group items together such as clothes/shoes etc and itemise more expensive items such as jewellery. To be honest from the stories I've read on here a lot of the time CBSA agents barely glance at the B4 form.
I advised my wife to group items together; clothes, shoes, jewellery, electronics. She landed in Vancouver and said the form wasn't even looked at, just asked about marital status, age, where she was going to live, and sign the COPR. It took longer to get her bags from the plane than it did to go through immigration.
