Landing - Is Vehicle Import a MUST?

Hi all,

I have have finally received the approved CoPR after 2.5 years wait. I am panning to drive in a few weeks for my initial landing in Canada.
I have a million questions but most answers are easy to find. The question I need help with is exporting/importing my car. A few (dumb) questions:
- If I am entering Canada as PR, is it NECESSARY to import my vehicle on the same day?
- Is there a grace period when I can drive a US-plated car in Canada - is it similar to the 60-day period for driver's license? There's a chance I will need to drive back to the US on the automatic visa revalidation after I land to make some arrangements/send stuff over to Canada, etc. I am on H1B.
- Is there a legal way to import a car later? If I do it without exporting, what are the legal implications - can I sell such a car later, etc.?
- Anything else I should be aware of? I realize that landing (+ COVID testing) is a big thing on its own and if I can reduce complexity and take out the car import part, that's going to be helpful.
