I have just received Confirmation of Permanent Resident, and I plan to land in Woodstock - New Brunswick. I wondering a few things:
What should I bring beside the CoPR and passport?
What questions will border officers ask me in the interview?
I don't have US visa, would it be an issue?
Should I dress formally?
Could I bring my laptop, cloths and other personal stuff to the border? I plan to spend a night in an inn.

1) proof of funds and any work permits or proof of valid status in canada, if you are already in the country.
2) questions are simple....show copr and passport, they ask if you committed any crimes or been refused entry before. You sign copr and have to initial a few things. Then they give you a quick overview of rights and duties as PR in Canada. Usually you finish it all with a nice welcome to canada message.
3) if you are already in canada and just drive to the border, you will have to go over to the american side, tell them you are doing a flagpole run and they will ussue you a little piece of paper that says you were rejected and you have to take that back to the canadian side and show it along with copr. No need for visa.
4) no need for formal dress code but you shouldnt look homeless either. Just normal, clean everyday clothes are fine.
5) you can bring whatever you want for your overnight stay. Up to you.
