About Myself:
I have landed in Toronto in the Month of Dec-2015 for a short stay and received my PR card. Now I am planning
to move permanently to Canada from India ( Hyderabad ).

In a brief nutshell, things to do before landing Canada.
1. Finance - Carry enough money to survive for initial 6 to 12 months. Please note that cost of living in Toronto is higher than other parts of the states - 2 Member family needs CAD 2500 for a comfort stay. Add 500 CAD for additional persons
2. Documents - Educational certificates, Job References and their contact numbers, Valuables - Gold/Diamonds, COPR/PR card(If any),passports(Old and New), Flight tickets, Travel Insurance, International Credit/Debit Cards, CAD 2000 for miscellaneous expenses for initial days, Demand Drafts/Swift Transfer/Travel Cheques, Proof of Income
3. Insurance - Travel Insurance for minimum 90 to 120 days for Ontario state as there is a waiting period of 90 days for province sponsored health insurance
4. Job connections - Create Linkedin page with valuable and credible information. Get connections from your peers and seniors and try to get recommendations if you deem-fit in your profession. Endorse the skills from your colleagues if you deem fit. Try to connect with HR resources of different countries especially from Canada Provinces.
5. Luggage - Warm clothes, Cooker, Grinder Mixer, Medicines with prescription, General Medicines,
6. Stay - visit websites like Kijiji or other websites to get advanced booking for your initial stay period.
