I am Canadian citizen living outside of Canada and sponsored my husband.
He got his PR and the destination is Calgary. If he does the landing in some other city of Canada will the immigration authorities have any issue?
As per http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t35499.0.html thread it seems ok, just wanted to re-confirm.
Will it be fine if he (principal applicant) lands alone and I (sponsor) do not accompany him?
As per our re-establishment plan mentioned in our PR application, we would be settling in Calgary, in case we plan to land in another city in search for jobs (without a confirmed job) would it cause a problem?
for spousal sponsorship, there are no restrictions on landing locations. i believe he can also land in quebec if he can show a final destination to another province. others will confirm.

yes this is fine. spousal sponsors for outland applications are not required to be at the landing.

no, there is no problem if you end up moving to a different city/province after your husband lands as a pr. you both are free to live your lives normally without having to share the details with immigration.

Check my signature for detailed explanation. Landing in Quebec is not advised, unless you know what you have to do afterwards. But you can land on any other provinces of your choice.
