Hi, I am in US on H1B visa and intend to land in Canada(I got my Confirmation of Permenant Residency last week) via Emerson, Manitoba to canada via road. I intend to stay there only for 2 days and come back to usa and then go there permenantly after 1.5 years.
I have the following questions
1- What is better - going via my US car or via a rental car from usa
2- What should i do for family insurance
3- Telling the officer that i intend to stay there only for 2 days and then i am back to US for some time ..create any troubles for my PR?

1 Do we need to submit goods to follow form during landing? Can we take rental car?
2 Can we apply for insurance if we plan to return back within a week?
1 Yes we need a goods to follow list. We can take a rental car
2 Your US insurance should work in canada too, until you change to canadian plates no matter how long you are in canada.
