I have approved PR Visa (stamped on Passport). I am planning to Land in Canada using PR visa along with my wife by Car from USA via Buffalo border. I am on H1B in USA and planning to come back within 10 days. I bought new Honda Pilot on Feb 12 2010 which i financed with American Honda. As the car financed i do have copy of title with me. My question is
1) Can I drive in my new car finish landing formality and come back in 10 days? Remember i do not have Car title with me!!!
2) I do not want to include my new car in any of the forms. I assume its M2 ("things bringing with me") and M2A ("things to follow”) as i am not going to going back permanently with in a year. I assume you have to pay tax on items you don’t import in Canada with in a year if you listed them in any of the form.
Please guide me. I am planning to go within a week.
