Hi all, which border crossing did Toronto people use? Are there any where you can walk into the Canadian visa office without having to drive across in to the USA? Was it hard at all?
I have my CoPR so I'm hoping to land soon.
Cheers!
are you already in canada? if so, you do what's called flagpoling with the us. while outland applicants to leave canada to land, you don't actually have to enter the us. the border agents on both sides will know all about it, so they will tell you what to do. basically, you drive up to the us border, tell them you are flagpoling, they hand you a form, they tell you to turn around, and you drive to the canadian border to land. it will have no effect on any future trips to the us.
I'm not sure what the niagra falls border is called, i think maybe the "peace bridge"?
