Hi All,
I got my passport back along with CoPR.
The stamp has "number of entries" as one.
Now I am planning to make a landing in next couple of months and then come back to India and wrap things before going back to Canada. If the stamp is valid for just one entry, how does this work? Also can i request the PR card to be delivered in India and not in Canada?
Anyone who has already made the landing pls help with these doubts.
Thanks
You need to wait to get PR card before leaving for India, otherwise you have to apply for travel document. ONly other way is to have the PR card mailed to you by a friend/family, but risky and I won't advise.
PR card cannot be sent to INdia by CIC
First of all, congrats on your COPR! That's ok having only 1 entry, as you can land and go back to your country. What you can't do is getting the PR card delivered outside Canada. You can have a friend mail it to you or wait to get it before leaving the country, which is recommended. Once a Permanent Resident, you will have to show your PR card to enter Canada again.

Thanks Jorgecmb and One_Topsy for the quick reply
What is the average number of days does it take to get the PR card after landing? I will plan my trip accordingly
