Landing before passport expires or before PR visa expires?

Hello everyone!I need your advice or opinion.When should we land to Canada?Before our visa expiration or passport
expiration?What if the passport expires first with the PR visa on it which is not yet expire?Are we required to land already?Can we just attach the old passport with the PR visa to the new passport and just land before the visa expires?Because among all of us 5 members who are migrating to Canada,my husband has the earliest passport expiration date which is in June 2013.What if we receive our visa in Feb.2013 but we plan to leave in October or November 2012 with new passport and the old one attached together,is there no problem?Hope you will reply.Thanks?

You MUST land within 1 year of your medicals done OR before expiry date of your PPs ,whichever comes first.

Thank you so much for your reply.Because of the new announcement to temporarily stop accepting applications for 6 months for FSW,our papers were not submitted yet by our lawyer.It's ok with us because our work contract here in KSA is not yet finished.Now we have time to renew our passports.Goodluck to all of us and Godbless!
