Hi all, i was hoping someone could answer question i have.
I recently recieved my visa and i am travelling to canada from the uk on 18th june 2010.
I read on the forums that there is a landing pack you should be issued or that you can ask for from the immigration officer at the airport
is this true?
and if so what does the pack contain?

All I got were some bad copies of flyers about where to go to get a driver's license, SIN card, OHIP, etc, but I didn't land at an airport. I crossed in Buffalo by car.
ours had a day planner and a slew of flyers/applications ect ect that you might need... in a bag that they give... it wasn't an extravagent offering but it's free and somewhat useful.. the immigration officer who processed us didn't offer it or tell us about it... we knew to get it and went and asked and found the counter where it's passed out... they were very friendly and welcoming there (not so much so at the immigration counter)...
