In case it is helpful to folks, just thought I’d share my experience with making a landing appointment here. I am an April Outland applicant already in Canada and I received my copr last Thursday and called to make a landing appointment last Friday. I was already making plans to flagpole somewhere or fly back home (USA) because I’d read it can take months to get an appointment. To my surprise, I received an email from the Etobicoke office today with an appointment on November 28. Pretty cool. I think the person with whom I spoke on the phone marked my case urgent because I’m getting close to the 6 month mark. For anyone in Canada who received their copr- might be worth trying to get an appointment- definitely glad I did because I was close to making my own landing plans. Now I just gotta show up on time and, from what I understand, my sponsor didn’t even have to go.
