Hi there,
Has anyone done their landing in Canada with their COPR at pacific central train station in Vancouver? My husband and I will be taking the train from Seattle to Vancouver and hope to land/activate our PR cards at Vancouver central station. Let me know if anyone’s done this! : )
Best wishes.

It's not clear if CBSA can provide service for landing in Pacific Central Station office. (this is where the custom check is done for train arriving in Vancouver)
There is also a check in Seattle before bording the train. (not sure if a COPR will be sufficient for it)
may be contact CBSA at that location to make sure. IMO, it's better to do that at a crossing where landing is often done (even if they do provide that service, how often would the officer process that? probably never...)
Yes our PR cards will be sent to our Canadian address. I will contact CBSA and ask them. I’ve seen a few people on this forum having success at pacific central station before so fingers crossed it works for us. We are British, so even if at the Seattle side they don’t accept copr, we would just have our eta as we would usually do as just enter Canada as tourists. We are only doing a soft landing as have to leave two weeks later.

Don’t think you can do this by rail. The system is really set up for tourists, citizens or PR card holders and immigration status and ability to enter Canada is verified before departure. Assume you have an ETA.

I called CBSA yesterday and they said it’s fine to do the landing with our COPR’s at pacific central station, and then they would post our PR cards to our Canadian address. Big relief.
Just wanted to update and say my husband and I did our landing successfully at Pacific Central Station in Vancouver. It was a very easy and smooth process. Took no more than 30minutes. : )
