i just got my passport with maple leaf and planned to land in Calgary in June
i had book my seats in qatar airways
Karachi-doha-Montreal-calgary

Please tell me if any worse happens as Montreal is in Quebec. Can i go calgary via montreal or should i change my route

I saw many of seniors in this forum replying such a question that Yes, you can travel
to Calgary via Montreal as long as you will have a proof that it is just a transit. In your
case it is your ticket. All the best in your life in Canada. Sherin

Yes, you can travel via Montreal. You will have to complete your landing formalities (PR formalities) in Montreal. All immigration formalities would be completed here. You just have to show (if asked) your tickets for your onwards journey to Calgary. You also have to take your luggage off at Montreal and again re check them in for Calgary flight.

No - no CSQ is required. The final destination is not Quebec.

We are in the phase of booking the tickets from Karachi to Calgary (for September 2012). Facing difficulties to find direct route via Dubai OR Doha. If we chose Karachi-Doha-Montreal-Calgary. What kind of issues we can face? Also, how much baggage would be allowed for us? From Montral to Calgary?
