Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello everyone,

i am desperately searching for some answers and maybe some of you can give me thouse. I am from Austria and at the moment i am on visit at my boyfriend. We are a couple since 2 years, he can not sponsor me, cause of a criminal record and the next years he can not apply for a pardon. So the only way that i can stay with him, is trough working in canada. Now i found a company, that would like to hire me. I could work as a room attendant in a local Hotel. But i am scared of that Labor Marketing Opinion, i always read this LMO on Homepages, when it comes to the work-permit-process, is it hard for a company and a foreing employee to become a positive LMO ? And for in case, that the work-permit for the hotel-job would not be possible, would it help me, when i have in canada a friend, that owns a company and he would like to hire me ? Is it easier to get a positive LMO trough a friend ? I am kind of lost and desperate cause of all the diffrent informations i was reading on the internet. Please, if someone could help me, i am thankfull for every little information i can get. :(

Thank you so mutch !

Yes - it can be quite difficult to get an LMO approved. For the LMO to be approved, your employer must be able to prove that he advertised the job and was unable to find a Canadian to hire for the role. If he can prove this easily, then there is a decent chance the LMO will be approved. The fact that your employer is your friend has no impact on the process.

Thank you for the answer again scylla :)

doas the people, wich are making LMO see in the employeers history, that many people was quitting on that job ? cause thats what happens in that hotel, after training everbody leaves and this sinc month, doas this have any advantage on the LMO ?
