Kiosk entry for Super Visa - stay validity question

Hello,
My parents will be entering canada for the first time on super visa. I understand there is a kiosk system in Montreal.
From this link it says, if u enter by kiosk the maximum stay will only be 6 months. Does this apply for super visa as well? So, will my parents have to ask to see an officer after the Kiosk. ( Its not clear for the kiosk entry). https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=442&top=16

You can enter up to 2 years. I helped an elder with super visa to enter 1 year as length of stay and it accepted. This happened last year.
