Hello,
I'm wondering if someone can provide me with guidance or put my mind at ease.
I am in Canada helping a friend in Kingston with a visitor visa.
We received a passport request letter to have her passport sent to the VAC. We prepared everything and intended to have it couriered to the VAC office in Kingston at 12 West Kings House.
For some reason that I do not understand, the post office sent the passport to the Canadian High Commission at 3 West Kings House Road instead.
I googled the High Commission and it seems like they also prepare passports, but it's still not the place where our passport was supposed to go.
I am wondering if the High Commission is still able to process, stamp and return her passport or if there is something I need to do on our end to get it to the VAC.
All the documents are in the package along with the passport. We paid for the return courier in advance and enclosed proof of payment for the VAC.
Our travel date is in a month so I'm worried this will delay things past our dates.
