I'm a 35-year-old student studying 1-year program in Toronto. I'll graduate next month. I have a job offer working in a tech position now.
I'm facing a dilemma between 2 options:
1. Graduate and start work with 1-year PGWP => apply for PR after 1 year
2. Keep studying one more course to get a 3-year PGWP, then look for another opportunity later => apply for PR after 1 year
I want to get PR as asap. Could anyone give me some piece of advice?

I have 460point which I believe I will never be able to compete in EE stream. What I want is OINP for tech stream
About job offer point without LMIA, I don’t know it. You mean I can not apply for STEM without LMIA?

No, I mean that if you want to claim 50 job offer points under Express Entry, your employer needs to obtain an approved LMIA.
A one year PGWP is always risky if your priority is PR. People sometimes run out of time before they receive ITA / nomination. A 2-3 year PGWP is much safer. Ultimately your call.

I know it’s risky. My strategy is after my PGWP is expired, my wife will get(buy) LMIA to extend her OWP to continue working. Then I will be able to apply new OWP. Do you think it could work or not?
