Hi
I submitted my paper based application and got the visitor visa approved for me and my wife.
I didn't get any uci number for me as well as for my wife
now I have an active express entry profile and I need to mention my uci numbet
Thanks for the reply
were the numbers same when u received letter/decision phase mail from cic for visitor visa and ur visa stamp?
Did u cross check.
because one of consultant told me u don't get a uci number for visitor visa.
Thanks again

To be honest, I looked for the UCI number on the letter and could not find any such thing! Then I was told that it is also present on the visa, and the only number which matched the description (pure numerical 8 digit value) was this particular number. Not sure if this solves your problem though.
^ I had a UCI on my letter. If you are opening the letter in your web browser, you may not find it. Download it first and open the letter locally with Adobe Reader.
Anyway, nin_ja already said it. It's on the visa, bottom right 8-digit number.
Geez, i can't link the application even using UCI from the visitor visa....I have tried many combinations and still nothing. Looks like that I have to wait official app number from CIC

Yes, the pdf that they sent you when they approve the TRV, that contains a number. I guess around the top right corner close to the bar code? That is your UCI. UCI is issued for TRV as well. UCI is like a profile for all applicants on IRCC's system. You will be issued an UCI irrespective of what type of Visa you apply, and it will be issued even if your VISA is rejected.
