so i just passed my test, 20/20 in less than 3 mins, and after the interview i was told that my oath ceremony will be in October???
The slowest Scarborough office is no joke..good luck to you all!
6 months from test to oath? I think the officer was just trying to not get your hopes up. November is within their 12 months processing time so he/she just let you know the worst case scenario. It'll only get better from there so your oath will probably happen before Nov ;P

At least you already took your exam - Mississauga office hasn’t even stated sending invitation to most of your fellow October applicants yet

I certainly hope so, 5-6 months wait time for a ceremony is insane

I know, but it also took more than 4 months for my application to go into “in process” status. I guess it all evens out at the end for everyone.

This and maybe they've resorted to just quoting IRCC's advertised DM to oath wait time, just like call agents are just quoting the 12-month AOR-DM wait time. Your AOR date is mid-October, so hopefully you'll get a quick DM and get in the queue.

If it makes you feel better, i've been waiting for my Oath invite since 3 months and 8 days already.

I am sure we were interviewed by the same person at the Scarborough office who also told me to expect me oath by my application anniversary in October
