i have to submit it upfront regardless because it has authentication and seal on the paperwork which is about 3 pages each and you cant tear them apart to scan them as they are binded by a red ribbon.. it's just how our country's pcc is specially if you work overseas i tell you it took us about 2 months to get it... because my hubby needs to send it back home have it sealed etc etc.... i had to submit it upfront it didnt hurt... my gckey says no additional docs required now so i guess they are done with collecting paperwork (hopefully)
anyway really? i can submit pcc (without being requested) thru webform? i have them actually now. i will be submitting two. the country where i live now has 3 months validity, i got one last july but since it was not requested, it already expired so was actually waiting a request before i get another one.

no...we submitted ours in a panic after getting a note in gckey saying "we requested this cert on july 19 and did not hear back. if you don't do it within thirty days we're making a decision based on what we have"
we never got the initial request on july 19 is what i'm saying which is why i freaked out realizing they had been waiting for three months for it and we did not know
they wouldn't know anything once your papers are transferred to lvo... my husband did get pcc from phil. too and have to get it authenticated with red ribbon that is why our app took a while we got married this january and we only submitted our app july 20 meanwhile someone who got married months after us applied first hahaha lol how frustrating is that? you can try and call not sure if they would be able to help you.
exactly, it is really a long process getting pcc from home country when youre overseas. i have a question again regarding the pcc your husband got in Phil. do you really have to authenticate? also, i have not read that in the website? (correct me if i am wrong) also does your husband's has thumbprint and signature in it? since i only asked a representative to do so, mine has none.

my husband needs to go to the phil embassy in Qatar and yes it is necessary to have it authenticated as that is the instruction on getting a pcc on the phil embassy in Qatar... you have to send it back to philippines and have it red ribboned and authenticated then send it back to you and you have to go to ministry of foreign affairs to get a stamp and sticker which will be placed in the back of the said nbi. idk how it is in uae but that is what we needed to do for him. Yes it did have a thumbprint and picture placed as well.. it needed to have one that's why you need to go and get one from the embassy. are we talking about nbi or pcc from philippines where you live?

wow!! 3 mos' quite a long wait.. good thing you app was linked and they still send a note that pcc was requested july and you were still given a chance to submit. which month did you receive the note by the way and when did you send cert?
What i understand from the email they need the birth certificate. And that will cause delay in the process as stated by them. You were not pregnant at the time of application so that was not false information that you submitted. Another thing I'm thinking while replying to this message is that you might get PPR before the time baby born so hope for the best.
Worse case scenario, there is a delay in the process and baby born in residing country, inform them then or a month before the due date.
As you have already mentioned your pregnancy to them so it will not be a issue then.
Hi, My VO is in London too. I was wondering why I was not requested PCC since I worked overseas too. was only requested sch A , and my ECAS status showing: "The additional documents you provided have been uploaded." Does it mean, it was not reviewed yet?
BGC in progess..
I was not trying to follow up either, should i do that now? what do you guys think?
