I am like you. I called CIC yesterday and they told me that they were working on applications received before 17th of July but no after that date and that I needed to wait a couple of more weeks. So I am pretty confused how so many people here got a AOR1 after the 17th??? I don't know what to do other than wait.

Gave them a call and they have sent the AOR1 via email to my husband (applicant).

Asked the husband to check his email and it was there!

A question about medical checks.

My husband has 2 dependants. His first son is not coming with us as his mom has full custody and our daughter is entitled to a Canadian certificate which is in process. CIC has sent emails for medical checks for him and for the other 2 dependants. Based on this case, does the dependants need a medical check as well?

Yes, all dependents need to take the medical exam, whether they're going to Canada or not.

My sponsorship status is in progress. Processing started on 5 sept.
Is this all normal? Unable to linking as application not found.

Hi,

Try searching more ways on how to upload it. Several discussions were posted previously. Make sure you have the correct details and AOR number.

Dont fill up birth place
Try single instead of married
Number of applicants should be 2

In proof of relationship they mentioned " Provide letters from friends/Family that your relationship is recognized by them. My question is how many letters we have to proved ? and also please guide me what we have to write in these letters?

I sent in a letter each from my parents, and sister along with their copies of the first page on the passport. (The passport thing was recommended by a friend). If you like, you could include letters from friends as well.

Just get them to write who you are to them and how long they have known youre spouse. Throw in some kind words.
Signature and date.

Is chat history mandatory? isn't call history enough to prove contact between two people?

In my part i didn't know it had to be translated to english and has to be notarized to what i did was just translate it myself

We asked someone who is profecient in english to do the translantion, then we provide a certificate of authentication of translation ( basically the translator sworn Under a lawyer that all translation are true). Also, all the original copies of themessages where also nothorize ( certificate of true copy)
