Just tell them, that you applied on ___ date and haven't received your file no. yet... They will say yes we have some delays and we are working on July 14 applicants and all that, after that just tell them is it possible for you to find out some more information by looking into your(sponsor's) UCI number and see if there are any notes/comments from visa officer....

I called them again and the agent can see on my UCI number, he is atleast now able to see my husband's information, which means they did have entered some info on my file....
Agent told me that wait for couple of more days as they will notify me with further steps hopefully in couple of days

I am sponsor and got what I think is AOR 2 yesterday via email but I read somewhere that the PA gets the AOR 2... it says
" Dear Sir/Madam,
This refers to the Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class you submitted to this office on
behalf of XXX and family (if applicable).
This message is being sent to confirm that the Application for Permanent Residence for your
relative(s) will be processed at CPC Mississauga."

... my husband is American... I thought that it gets transferred to visa office in US?

Check on your PR card, you have something called ID no..... its the same thing that is there on your work permit/student permit

That's ecas, but I'm not sure what you're asking. You have to wait for them to request police checks, Schedule A and the medical - it doesn't come immediately

I have a cic account and my wife who is PA doesn't have one, I linked the AOR we received to my account, so when you said to check PA account for any ECAS updates I have PA's account linked to my account so same updates should be there and I should be able to see it right ?
