We applied for spousal sponsorship in July 2013. For some reason, I was not able to apply the work permit from our application. Since I can't renew my post graduate work permit and to have a legal status in Canada I extended my stay as a visitor. Can I apply work permit or need to wait the first stage of our application before applying?
