Job-transfer after Family class sponsorship approval?

My husband is about to apply to sponsor me under Family Class so I can move over as permanent resident.

I am currently working in London full time but there is a chance the company may be able to transfer me into the Canada branch. This is not yet guaranteed.

Does anyone know if the transfer is still possible after applying under spousal sponsorship family class? Would I be allowed to apply for intra-transfer after this application is approved or would I not need to? Or would I need to quit and be re-employed by the same company over there??

Please advise as I'd rather get transferred than job-hunt!

The PR app and your job situation are 2 entirely different things, so each can proceed separately.

As long as your company sorts out the work visa issue, you can certainly be transferred to and work in Canada while your PR app is processing. Once you get PR, you can continue the same except then you won't need the work visa anymore.
