Job title

Hello guys,

My job designation was "Assistant lecturer". All of my job duties match with NOC 4021. I am worried as the word "Assistant" is in my job title. Different job titles for NOC 4021 provided in IRCC website doesn't have word "Assistant" on any example job title.

So although my job duties are matched with NOC 4021, does my job title create issues?

Duties are the ones that matter most.

Your job must match the NOC main duties and that's about it. The job title doesn't matter.

i agree with you. i work in a univ. and have PHD, but my consultant suggested me to apply 4021, as i have no papers and books which can approve my research work. I do have some awards and projects, but most of them are teaching-related. And i teach pre-level university students.
