I have a question that i need to clear out as i am about to submit my application. My employer used my job title as business analyst but when i matched the duties it comes under office manager. Which title should i use for cec application. As for my visa last march i have used my job title as business analyst. Which job title should i use now? Please help!
Your "job title" it is what your employer says it is. It doesn't always match the NOC code.
Both occupations (business analyst and office manager) are skilled, assuming you do "manage" an office (its people and processes) and the job duties in the Letter of Employment show that you supervise other staff.
NOC is what is important and should match your duties and responsibilities - job title does not have to match the list of titles for the NOC. I'll agree that it's a bit of a stretch from business analyst to office manager, tho.
Not sure what you mean by "your visa" - did you get an LMO and a temporary work permit, or...? If you have a TWP, it should list an NOC ...
the job title doesn't have to match with NOC title. Mine was also different and there was no problem with that. Only the duties and resposibilities must match...
