Job scope for Mechanical Engineer in Ontario?

I'm right now working in India, have 2 yrs experience in Canada as a Mechanical engineer, worked under WP.

Plan to apply PR under CEC category.

Does anyone know about current situation for Mechanical Engineering jobs?
