Since it is mandatory to provide the job reference letter if ITA is received, I tried reaching out to my past employer. After contacting HR department had to face the harsh reality that they cannot provide any reference letter. Later tried reaching out to my managers but that too did not do any good. I contacted few of my colleagues, but haven't received any feedback from them. Only plus point is that I have all my documents with me i.e. Offer Letter, Relieving Letter, and pay slips.

Can anyone guide in what should I do in this case ? Any other alternative way ?

Hi,
One of the most common problems is obtaining a reference letter. First try your best to get reference letter on company letterhead.
If your HR cannot provide such reference letters, try to get this on an email from them. Try same with manager and get it on an email that they cannot provide any letters.
Ask a colleague if he is willing to give you a reference letter on a plain paper and later get it notarized.
Explain this to IRCC via LOE and upload all the job relevant documents you have along with refusal letters from HR and manager. Also attach the notarized reference letter from colleague. If possible attach their business card for additional proofs.

You have to proof that you worked under this NOC and carried out specific duties to IRCC

In any case do not upload a self attested reference letter.
The decision is always on the Visa officer if he accepts this or not.
Good luck!

So let’s break this down..
In the last 10 yrs the IRCC requires you to provide details of your job experience.
You get max points for 3 years of foreign work only in these 10 yrs.
These points can be claimed if you have letter of reference from your employer.
So if you think you are not able to get reference letter from this employer of yours, do you have another work experience (with the reference letter of course) that you can substitute it with to claim your points ?
The work experience should be within the NOC 0, A or B category
