Hello,
I have a work experience letter from my previous employer. I held a single job title/role for my entire duration of employment with this employer, and the dates are stated on the letter.
The letter goes like this -
"This is to certify that [my name] worked at [employer name] from [start date] to [end date]. His last title was [job title] in a full-time (40 hours per week) employment capacity and his last salary was [salary].
During his employment, his duties included the following:
...(cont'd)"
I am worried that it says "last" title and "last" salary. I have held only a single role at this company. It is just their format to report my single role as my last role at the company.
Will this cause a problem with my application?
If it will be a problem, I can also attach my offer letter (to show that I started with this title and salary) and tax forms (to show that I was always paid this salary for the entire duration). Will this be sufficient?
Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think it is sufficient and I don't think it will be a big issue. As long as the letter clearly states job duties, hours, compensation etc. ... things needed by IRCC it should be fine. If you're worried about it just write 2-3 line explanation in the letter of explanation clarifying that this is set internal format of your company.

Thank you! I was worried they might misconstrue "last title" as that I may have held a previous title not mentioned on the letter.
I will write a LOE to clarify, in any case.
In your experience, does IRCC call employers if they need further confirmation/clarification about anything? (As long as I have provided details they asked for.) I hope they do, instead of immediately issuing a rejection.

I have read through forums where a few people have mentioned that their employers did get a call from IRCC. But I don't think it is very common. It is quite rare. From what I have seen on the forums here (based on GCMS notes shared by people) the IRCC case analysts try to validate whether a company is a genuine company. So they do web search to see if the company exists. If you work for a big company, chances are remote that your employer will get a call.
