I got my Canada PR. I want to find out job for me. I had done MBA in Finance. I have 7 years of Experience in Finance Analysis and Investment Accounting.
Can some tell me the Job Prospects for the above details and also, guide me on how to find a job in Canada from India.
If u plan to be in the financial sector, then yr first target should be Toronto, then Montreal.
What is yr speciality? if u are in the investment and analysis side then u will need to start with an analyst position in canada but u will need to take canadian certification in securities analysis and also CFA if u want to be canadian recognised. Yr MBA in finance is worthless unless its from Canada or maybe US, depending on the uni.
Its very tough to find a job in the financial sector as an analyst unless u start from fresh and yr 7 yrs experience in india will mean nothing to canadian employee cause its not canadian experience.
So be ready if u plan to start in this sector.
Accounting on the other hand, may be easier but u would also need to have CMA, CA or CGA from canada, not elsewhere to be qualified to practise in canada. So be prepared to face tough times if u really want to land in canada and in this 2 sectors.
The chances of u finding a job from india in Canada is almost zero, to be frank, cause most employers will not make international calls to u and will not interview u, unless u are in canada. So the only way out is to be in canada.
