I am working for a year in Canada and I will be applying under the EE Canadian Experience stream soon. I came in on a LMIA exempt closed work permit for my current company. This company is also willing to write me a job offer stating that they will keep me full time employed minimal a year after my PR will be issued. So that is all fine and I will be able to collect the 50 extra points I need.
However, I have been approached by another company also having an interest in my profile to work for them. Since I am far from decided what I will do I was wondering if this is possible for me to accept and collect the 50 points that come with it for my PR. Technically I am still under a closed work permit, but I do have 1y of Canadian work experience.
Or does this company have to go to the effort of an LMIA to have a valid job offer?

First, at this time you cannot legally change jobs without first getting a new work permit, most likely requiring an LMIA first.
Second, if you change employers after you claim a valid job offer, it invalidates the job offer and you could lose your eligibility if the loss of 50 pts reduces your CRS score below the cut-off for your draw.
Yes, the LMIA means that the valid job offer can only come from the employer named on the LMIA. The new employer could either obtain an LMIA for you, or wait until you land as a PR, then you can change jobs.
