have you tried peter's new jobs job listing? they offer listings for ottawa and toronto and it's really good. you get a free 30 day trial, then can use new email addresses to get more free trials. kijiji is also a good source for "survival jobs".
 
Jobs Market is good in Toronto Ontario. Just search some temporary job agencies or go towards online job portals, you'll definitely find a lot of stuff.
