Hi,

A school classmate of mine is in Canada and is planning to start a business by investing 1,000,000 CAD in his venture. He is interested in hiring me. Can you please advise on the procedure through which he can make me a job offer? Would that job offer provide me with 600 points?

As far as I know, the potential employer needs to be in business for more than 12 months before being eligible to support a candidate. Even after that, there's so many things involved before the employer can successfully get a LMIA to support your application. It can be a very lengthy process, if possible at all.
