As per EE recommendation I created a profile on the Job Bank here (https://seeker.jobbank.gc.ca/seeker/)
However, from the time I registered I haven't seen even one job match.
@Asivad Anac: Whoa !! That is so weird. I tried changing the location but still didn't see at least one match. I wonder what the problem is.
My job bank profile overview.
- Looking for software development roles in BC
- 3yrs experience in software development
- Completed bachelors and pursuing Master's
If you don't mind can you please share a very brief overview of your job bank profile.

It sporadically gives me jobs which have nothing to do with my profile. The functionality is all half-baked at this point in time and clearly not a CIC priority item. And these mails just started popping up in early July even though my profile has been active at least from March.
Maybe others can weigh in with what they are getting from Job Bank and if it is relevant or not.
I get a notification every day - Accountant. If the job is a strictly an accountant job then that is given 5 stars. It also matches me with jobs where it views my skills are transferable but those jobs are given 2 or three stars.
I used to get more alert before I recreated my profile in June. This was because after setting up the account and went back on Job bank and selected locations and job types for which alerts should be sent.

I, too, is getting email everyday from Job Bank starting July 11 but everything is about administrative/retail/restaurant/etc "managers". At least there's a new update from Job Bank, LOL. ;D I just hope it will work soon.
Is it necessary that the job experience in My CIC EE profile and Job Bank profile be same?
Here is what I mean: The EE profile has all my experience under one NOC code 2171. Whereas the job bank provides an opportunity to select roles and responsibilities in detail for various sections. In doing so, I encountered that 0213 matches closer to my responsibilities.
So should I just update the job bank with different NOC code for same employer/employment period? Or is it that both EE profile and Job Bank profile need to be same at any given point in time for same employer/employment period?
