So I signed up for job bank as is necessary for EE. As soon as I made my job bank account I filled in all the information, listed skills, education, etc... I took the time to list any and all variants of skills. A simple example is "order office supplies" and "order supplies and equipment". There seem almost like they same thing but I picked anything and everything that applied to my skills for each job even if they seemed redundant.
This leads to my concern, that in the month+ since I've had the job bank account and filled it out completely (and yes it is activated) job bank only tells me this- "At the moment, there are no job postings that correspond to your job seeker profile." I find this hard to believe. What did I do wrong? Any advice on how to improve this would be much appreciated.
I went to university in Canada and worked a post-graduation work visa for a while. When I had the work visa I found my job after moving back. Due to my visa expiring and my last employer not holding up their agreement to help me get a new visa I had to return to the US.
Is there a good way to find a job before returning to Canada? This time I would kind of like to have something lined up instead of moving and not having anything again.
