I don't know who the VO is but the documents were being processed in the PM unit at the Manila office. I'm currently in Canada so I sent the passport documents to Ottawa. Medical file expires next weekend so I'm a bit nervous and rushing them at the same time.

I'm in the same situation: sent passport to Ottawa and medical will expire soon! Are you calling them to rush the passport back to you or just waiting?

Everytime I check MYCIC, it makes me feel depressed. Praying that God would grant our heart desire.
Suzy has got an update on her Background Check already.

I'm planning to request for another GCMS notes. I think nobody is touching our files.

Other applicants are getting PPRs already.

I have applied for my husband in januray it is mid of october now. They just sent me a massage asking for my civil marriage certificate and certificate of non conviction. These papers were sent with the full package. My whole application was sent to bucharest and now i dont know what to do. They say if we dont send the papers within 30 days of their email they will process the application with the provided papers and it may be refused.

How long does it take to receive COPR and the passport back once they received it in Ottawa? I sent it on Oct 11 and nothing. Medical will expire the weekend! Total Panic. Almost 1 year waiting and now this.

Is it ok to order notes again? I am also planning on requesting another batch (3rd request)

Holy..send them an e-mail urging them about this...I'd be sending them 10 e-mails a day until they respond. In my case I received my CoPR today and went right to Niagara Falls border. Waited an hour to be served. It was not as quick as people have mentioned here but it is done. Best of luck to you all and especially you Nana.

PPR: October 4
Passport received: October 4 (sent them a follow up e-mail urging them to process me quick)
PR Approved and tracker activated: October 13 ( got a response from them to confirm my tracking number so they can find my xpresspost letter. later approved that day)
CoPR Received : October 18 in the morning (Slightly delayed due to Canada Post's processing error)
Landed: October 18 @ Niagara Falls Border at night

Would you be able to tell me what did you write in the email and to give the email address you used?

Should I just say that my medical exams are going to expire and that I would appreciate an urgency on my application?
