I have applied at UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK, DALHOUSIE UNIVERSITY and UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR for M.Eng Electrical for january 2016 intake. Kindly helpme about part time job offerings around these universities and suggest me about the priority that I should consider while accepting the offer.

Hey bro!

I also applied for MEng mechanical at UNB Jan 2016. Lets stay in touch if we land up in UNB. ;D

With regard to job Fredericton and Halifax is somewhat similar. i have heard jobs are competitive. You will get restaurant jobs, but these cities thrive on student population so don't expect cheap living costs(i heard that rents are high for students). since these cities are considerably small the part time money earned also can be less. Halifax is marginally better because of its geographic presence.

Windsor i don't know i can't comment.

Keep UNB the last option. between dal and windsor choose the one that fits your budget as windsor is a little expensive the fees and living costs.

Thnx for reply
Where are you from?
Wen did u applied at UNB?

Well about windsor and Dalhousie....

As far as i know Windsor and Dalhousie have same fees ( infact dalhousie is marginally higher )

I am from bangalore india

I applied to UNB few weeks back.. july first week

Woow. Actually i had shortlisted Dalhousie but dropped it coz the fees was too high. i guess its the most expensive university.

Hello,

I have also applied for MACSc in Dalhousie University for Jan 2016 intake. Waiting for decision..

I have one question..
In 2011 my student visa for USA has been rejected for 3 times in a row.. So how are my chances of getting student visa of canada

My profile is:

10th - 79%
12th - 69%
B.E - Aggregate 57% but in last year 69%
Experience - 2.6 years.

I have read that gpa is calculated for last 2 years in that case i get 3.3/B+..

So what are my chances of getting admission and visa??

WIth regard to visa, you should not hide your rejection. Give a proper explanation for rejection. Chances of visa nobody can guarantee, but ensure you have a solid application with proper explanations to your past. US rejection will not make canada reject you as well.

Chances of acceptance in Dalhousie is good. Research is a bit unpredictable, for your academics chances are 50-50, but you will have very good chances of getting accepted in MEng.

Thanks for your reply, I got my IELTS result on 21st Aug score is 7 bands. I have applied Masters of Applied Computer Science (MACSc) it is project based and not research based, so i am thinking that i will get admmission..i have told to expect decision about my application in first week of october...
And about i have US rejection, yes i have to give solid reasons...
can you tell me about visa processing time.. I have checked on the website and it says that Delhi has average time of 3 weeks...Does it take longer than that??
