One of my friends deferred his intake from Jan to Sept 2021 after getting done with a visa stamp, so his visa expiry date is based on the Jan 2021 intake (11/01/2021 to 30/09/2022). He wasn't able to upload a deferred LOA because his clg accepted his deferral request this week only, So he's worried that at the airport he might get into trouble because of the visa date problem, any suggestion?
(His program is a two-year program so as per Sept 21 intake LOA his program will be finished by April 2023)
Hello, I don't have an exact answer to your query but I am facing a similar issue. How is the visa expiry date determined? Can you tell me why that September 30 expiry date makes sense for January intake ? Thanks

I haven't experienced it myself, but have read few other applicants doing this. He has to show his new LOA at the POE and his study permit would be based on the date of the deferred LOA. Later before the expiry of his Study visa, he has to file for an extension.
