Hello everyone,

After my 10 months of waiting, I have finally received the "ready to visa" email from IRCC.
In the instruction email, they are asking to send my passport for the initial landing. However, I am already legally residing in Canada for the last three years and I do not need a visa.

I know IRCC has another procedure in place and enabling applicants to apply to IRCC office with an appointment.

I would like to learn if anybody here was able to skip this passport sent step and was able to book an appointment with the IRCC office for PR landing.

Thank you

Two of my friends got direct PR landing request, whereas few other including me got PPR request (ready for visa) even though all of live in GTA.
Direct PR landing request for inland applicants is a Pilot process and not everyone will be go through this route. So you have to send your passport, Annex A , Photo + any other documents requested along with return envelope to address mentioned. After approval you will be sent CoPR , post which you can book your PR landing appointment .
