Received the ITA in the latest draw, but I did not apply for FBI PCC previously. Checking the processing time for FBI PCC is well over the 2 month period to submit my documents doesn't give me much hope.
CIC website says that they accept under exceptional circumstances "proof of having requested a police certificate". My question is
1) Given these exceptional circumstances are common, is it easy to get this extension? How much is the duration?
2) What proof can I give for having submitted for police verification.
1. Yes. 60 days and more if it is further delayed.
2. Your postage tracking to show that documents were sent to FBI to get PCC along with a cover letter.
