IT Industry job for Immigrants

Hi,

I have 4 years of experience working as an Associate Consultant (2 years in Banglore, India and 2 years in Bahrain) .

I would like to immigrate to canada by skilled workers program. But i heard that companies in Canada will look for Canadian experience which makes hard for the immigrants to find a job they desire. Can anyone give me a clear idea of how Canadian job market works especially in the IT sectr.
