No! WP application is CAD150.00, not CAD550. It does not cost anything for the employer to apply with HRSDC. Don't fall victim to a SCAM. Check the legitimacy of the company purportedly hiring you. Be wary if the so called company is asking you to send money via Western Union or something similar.

My friend got an appointment letter of Hydro Quebec.. now the hr person says that the visa application fee of 550$ is to be paid to a third party account. Is it a scam..??
