Notarized copies of degree transcripts are not officially accepted by CHC London, and most other visa offices either.
If you did not supply original degree transcripts in sealed envelope with University stamp on with your application you are probably lucky that CIO did not fail your application, since the London checklist explicitly asks for original transcripts in sealed envelopes.
If you contact your University they should be able to send these to you for a small admin fee. When you receive it check it has a University stamp on it and send it to the visa office, without opening it. Please note this is the TRANSCRIPTS, not the degree certificate. Transcript is a break-down of your course, how long the course was for and the modules and marks.
They ask for original transcripts because too many people were forging degree certificates, so they want to be sure you actually completed the degree course.
Best of luck,
Wayne.
Thanks wayne for quick response.
Could please tell me how long they take to verify the requested document(original certificates and transcripts of all educational credentials of mine and spouse.
Looking forward to hear from you.
Thanks,
Additionally they need the originals for scanning purposes.
CAIPS also contain scans of our credentials
