Is work experience necessary for a BC PNP program?

I am in a situation where I will not be eligible for a post graduate work permit and my job experience comes from 8 months of co-op. I expect to get a really good job offer and my only hope is to get nominated under BC PNP either as student or worker. My question is, does one need atleast 1 year job experience to be nominated under the worker category? is it necessary even if your job is in a very high demand field? do you also need an LMO in order to apply under the worker category? Thanks in advance to anyone who could end my curosity.
