Is wife also required to take IELTS exam if husband is PA - INDIA

I am the primary applicant for Canadian PR. I have a query.My wife's english is not too strong. Is she also required to take IELTS exam for PR.
If I get the PR, will she get a dependent PR ? Can she work on that PR visa?
