I've seen this question asked again and again, but I'm not able to get an absolute answer to this question.

In my case, I've never received hard copy of WES ECA. As I've received ITA, now I've to upload ECA.

I would like to know is it ok if I upload the soft copy (pdf version) of ECA which I received through email or I must order a duplicate hard copy of ECA from WES.

If I order hard copy, it'll cost me around CAD 165, which is a bit too much.

Is there anyone who uploaded only PDF version of ECA and has successfully received PPR, please share as I do not want to spend CAD 165 if they are not absolutely required.

Even I have just soft copy and I'm planning to include that only. As far as I know, Wes report is not required to be uploaded as a document at all. The officer can pull the info from Wes database using our reference number. People just upload the report and Ielts trf to be on safer side. When I searched into this forum, there have been rejections in early 2015 when express entry was introduced for not uploading Wes report, but they were mostly visa officer errors.

I also came across people who successfully uploaded soft copy and got ppr. So soft copy is definitely sufficient, and don't spend any money on the hard copy.

Thanks, I'll do the same then :)
