Hey but one more question....

why does it say study or work permit? and then in the TYPE section it says SP. Any idea? Since i didnt apply for a WP yet, it should specifically say study right??

The VO doesn't have time to print individual letters per person so they use a common format for both SP and WP. So you need not to worry

Hi Sumera, Did you submit your passport along with your application, as they state on your letter it means you will get study permit at POE right? does it means they already issue your TRV in passport? i didnt submit my passport along with my application as i need the passport to travel and VFS told me its allowed that CHC will request for my passport if visa will be issued .. i applied for TRV together with SP thou

hey yes i submitted my passport wid application for SP at VFS. Iv had a TRV so i wont need TRV till 2014 end. ill reapply for TRV then.

Secondly, yes what we get here is LOI. The actual SP is given at POE. TRV is issued in the passport, yes. VFS also emails u the LOI incase u havent submitted passport to them. However, u need TRV to enter in canada so incase even if u get LOI right now without giving passport to CHC, they will definitely ask u for passport if ur TRV app is approved. Reason is u cant enter canada (with or without LOI and for any reason whatsoever) unless u have a TRV.
