I wrote N/A on all the blank spaces in all the forms of my application with a pen. Is that okay to do? I was told to not leave ANYTHING blank!

Yes, that is what I did also. I also wrote N/A on the document check list for any documents that I didn't include because they are Not Applicable. If you leave it blank they could think you just forgot the document.
Yes I not only wrote N/A on the checklist but also on the forms I filled out any blanks on the form I even wrote N/A

It will be ok .. better to write N/A than they think you just missed that question.
