We were recently married, and plan on applying for spousal sponsorship. Unfortunately this takes a long time. We tried applying for a visitor visa for her before (I even wrote a letter of invitation) but it was rejected because the officer didn't believe she had adequate ties to her home country since I asked for 6 months.

Is there any option for her to visit while we process our application? Would be nice if she could come visit for 2 weeks.

She can apply but has little chance of TRV approval.

Try not to apply the TRV again, Spousal sponsorship would take time.
Patience is the best medicine.

Good Luck
